All Hush Iced Sheets are made from pure viscose from bamboo. We never use blends. That's the only way we can guarantee that our sheets retain more of their natural properties, such as softness, breathability, and coolness.

By the way, most people would say that our sheets are made from "100% bamboo." While true, we can't use that term because the Canadian government recently passed a law saying sheet manufacturers aren’t allowed to say “100% bamboo”. That's why we say "pure" instead.

 

Made With Bamboo Harvested at the Peak of Freshness

Most people don’t know that bamboo is very much like a fruit and that it must be harvested at peak freshness to give you the best end product. If you harvest your bamboo at the wrong time, the fibres will be weaker, and the bamboo will lose its anti-bacterial properties.

To prevent this and ensure that our customers get to enjoy the full benefits of pure bamboo bed sheets, we only source bamboo that has been harvested at the peak of its growth cycle.

Resists Pilling

Ever heard of the pill-resistance grading system? We certainly hadn’t before we started designing our own sheets. Turns out that sheet manufacturers in Canada and around the world have a grading system for pill resistance.

The system includes a scale from one to five. Grade 1 sheets pill easily. Grade 5 sheets rarely pill. All Hush bamboo sheets are Grade 5 pill-resistant, so they’ll stay silky smooth wash after wash.

 

Softer and Cooler

All Hush bamboo sheets feature a sateen weave to give them that soft and smooth feel.
