Our Eco Bamboo Pillows’ covers are made with viscose bamboo, an organic material that is naturally cool to the touch, moisture-wicking, and light and airy. It draws away heat and moisture, evaporating it and cooling the body the same way sweating does.

The breathable fabric helps reduce night sweats, and its antibacterial properties means it doesn’t absorb any moisture or smell. Best part: since it’s always colder than room temperature, you always get the cool side of the pillow.

The Eco Bamboo Pillow covers are easily removable and machine-washable. Simply unzip, put in a cold wash, and hang dry for best results! And if hang dry isn't an option, no worries: try tumble dry on low heat. Even better, the naturally antibacterial fabric keeps away smells and bacteria, so it stays cleaner longer. Plus, it resists wrinkles, doesn’t pill,andgets softer with each wash.

What makes the viscose bamboo that makes our covers so good is that, as you might suspect, it's made from bamboo. Bamboo is incredibly fast growing and regrows once cut, meaning it doesn't need to be re-planted once harvested. Both these facts make it a highly renewable resource, and means it doesn't take up as much space as a typical cotton crop might.

It also requires little to no pesticides or fertilizers and uses little water, minimizing negative environmental impact from crops. Common crops like cotton are infamously water-hungry, resulting in the diversion and draining of natural water resources in many countries. They also require more pesticides and other agrochemicals, negatively impacting the environment in and around the crop. Bamboo's ability to thrive with little interference, and its impressive ability to regrow, makes it a very sustainable crop.

'Viscose' refers to the process that makes bamboo into cloth. Cellulose is extracted from the bamboo in chips, and then treated with solvents to break it down into something that can be spun into fiber. The solution used to treat those chips is called a 'viscose' solution.

There are a few key differences between our pillows that can help you decide which is for you. In short, if you want something softer, more cooling, and adjustable, we recommend the Hybrid. if you need stronger support and like a fully green product right down to the packaging, we recommend our Eco Pillow. 

The Hush Hybrid Pillow has a fluffier filling than our Eco Pillow, using shredded memory foam and down alterate. The filling is also uniquely adjustable; you can remove it as you wish in order to customize the height and loft to your preference. The Eco Pillow’s core, on the other hand, uses a memory foam that moulds to the shape of your head, providing firmer and more custom support.
